Members of the Lapidarists guild learn how to mine for minerals, many of which can be used as spell components, smelted into metal or cut into gemstones. Advanced members of this guild can carve stone into various items and produce gems that can be added to jewelry, armor and weapons.

There are fewer wearable objects that can be made from lapidary materials than with other crafts, but gemstones and spangles can be added to a wide variety of other equipment. Different minerals can add a nearly endless variety of stats, ranging from potent magical and elemental resistances, mana regeneration and attack stats like hitroll and damroll.

Lapidarists advance in their guild by completing guild jobs and producing mastercraft stone items. As they advance in rank, Lapidarists become more skilled with bringing out effects on gemstones and maximizing the yield of mineral deposits.

Necromancers that know how to bonecraft can inlay harvested bones as if they were stone. If they know soulbind and gemcutter, they can learn 'soulsmith'.
