lapidary split <finished gem>
The 'spangler' skill allows you to split a finished gemstone into tiny beads called spangles. These can be added to leathercrafted equipment and tailored clothing to bestow the properties of the gems upon them. Spangles are generally not as potent as mounted gemstones, but they are incredibly versatile.
Splitting a gemstone has a chance of shattering it, so exercise caution.
