lapidary polish <finished gem>
The 'polish gem' skill is a refinement of gemcutting that allows you to use abrasive materials and special polishes to enhance the stats of a finished lapidary gemstone. When used on a gemstone, you will attempt to improve its stats.
This skill has a gold cost proportional to the difficulty of working with the gemstone. It also costs a profession point. Polishing gemstones is risky as well, as it may expose a flaw or crack in the gem that ruins it.
