Necromancers adept at soulbinding and gemcutting can combine their talents, allowing them to mount soulstones to crafted jewelry and weapons. The soulstone serves as a conduit for channeling magic, increasing the mana regeneration of those that wear or wield the items. Mounting a soulstone uses mana equal to the level of the stone.
The higher the level of the soulstone used, the more potent the end results are. Extremely powerful stones may grant additional effects, but are more difficult to mount. Many necromancers have lamented over powerful soulstones lost in this risky process.
