The unarmed combat skill is a passive warrior skill. It enhances your ability to do damage without a weapon, in the event you become disarmed. It is said that warriors extremely proficient in this skill can often be more lethal than those wielding weapons. When not wielding a weapon, warriors adept at unarmed combat will automatically attempt many different kinds of strikes using their hands instead of just punching.
If you are wearing gloves or gauntlets that do a special damage type, your unarmed punches will do that damage type.
