Usage

The spell 'protection from demons' reduces the amount of damage taken from demons and undead. It is one of the more potent protection spells in a cleric's arsenal, reducing damage regardless of type or element. It has a relatively low mana cost, though it cannot be cast on behalf of others without groupcasting.
It should be noted that this spell also provides a small measure of protection from angels, though it is not nearly as effective against their attacks.
