cast famine <target>
'Famine' is a powerful curse that afflicts the target with a large appetite and unquenchable thirst. It immediately causes a loss of vitality and constitution. Moreover, if the target does not make a conscious and determined effort to satisfy its thirst and hunger, death can result. The curse has a long duration, and curses lasting weeks, months, or years have been known.
Putting this curse on someone is considered an offensive act. The curse itself can only be removed with 'lift curse', and even then only with great difficulty.
