'Faerie fire' is used to make a target more visible to open attack, and to highlight physical weaknesses of the target, effectively lowering their armor. The target will be surrounded with a magical pink halo until the curse ends. The halo is visible even through an invisibility spell, and is one of the few curses that cannot be blocked by a curse ward spell.
It has a relatively short duration, however it can be recast in combat. In addition to highlighting weaknesses, the faerie fire curse increases the potency of any flamestrike spell cast on the target, giving it a chance to light them on fire.
You can also cast this spell on object to give them a temporary glow flag.
The 'fairy fog' spell allows the caster to conjure forth a glowing purple cloud that spreads throughout the area and reveals all creatures in it. There is no known way to hide from fairy fog.
Anyone in the room will be highlighted with faerie fire as a result of the fog.
