cast earthquake
The 'earthquake' spell is typically used in combat to knock enemies to the ground and distract opponents. It cannot be cast while in the air, and due to the dampening nature of water it has little to no effect when cast above water (from inside a boat for example).
Due to its nature, casting earthquake can occasionally bring new deposits of minerals close enough to the surface for prospectors to find, though it can also bury them deeper.
