Usage
cast detect undead
The 'detect undead' is a spell perfected over the years by clerics. For a short time after casting, the spell allows the caster to sense the presence of undead from afar. Long after the immediate effect has worn off however, the spell will still reveal any undead in the immediate area to the caster.
This spell will help detect stealthy undead or certain kinds of difficult to see spirits. However, both turn undead and hold undead will quickly reveal the presence of any hidden undead in an area, and thus detect undead most useful if the caster wishes to remain undetected as well.
