Bravery is a protective spell that will prevent fear effects from making the target flee.
While commonly used in treatment of panic disorders among the peasant population, it is also occasionally used by vampire and dragon hunters to combat magical fear effects.
At first glance bravery seems to overlap significantly with Valor, but there are several key differences:
- Bravery can be cast on another target; Valor only works on yourself
- The dual-purpose of this is that it can be cast on enemies which flee at low health, to prevent them from running away
- Valor lasts almost twice as long as Bravery at the same skill/spell levels
- Bravery fades after it prevents a fear effect; Valor lasts its entire duration
