Dragonbane
Dragonbane is a kind of [advanced poison that can be manufactured by a thief via their Brew Poison skill. A brew with the dragonbane effect attached will be much more potent against its namesake foe. Although the name suggests that it is designed to be used against dragons, it is also effective against all LIZARD type mobs.
Tips
- Bottling the brewed poison and throwing it incurs the same level penalties as other thrown spell potions. Therefore it is far more effective to just brew the poison for the short term and empty the brewed poison when you need it.
- Poison Resistance will help a thief resist an advanced poison. The Cure Poison spell has a chance of removing an advanced poison effect, but, for maximum protection, Advanced Antidotes and Reduce Antidote are the way to go.
