Warrior equipment is easy to spot as it frequently (though not necessarily) has Hitroll, Damroll, Strength or Constitution, and Warrior Skill Level all at once. Occasionally a warrior item will also increase Charisma or Dexterity. An example of a Warrior item would be the following lowbie neck item:

Principles

Stats

Unlike Thief a Warrior's abilities do not bypass armor. As such, we will want lots of Hitroll which you can think of as armor penetration. The more Hitroll we have the less our opponent's armor matters. We also want Damroll which gives us bonus damage. You can almost entirely ignore the AC or Armor Class of an item while on the islands. Warrior's abilities use movement as their resource and lots of it so you will also want to look out for MOV_REGEN which allows us to regenerate movement more quickly in and outside of combat.

Leveling Gear

This section will cover important pieces of gear you should do your best to acquire while leveling. Not every piece of equipment is required nor will everyone have the exactly the same equipment due to Alter Aeon being a multi-class MUD. As with most newbie island gear it is focused primarily towards dealing as much damage as possible even if there is slightly less armor due to the theory that they can't hit you if they're dead.

NOTE: Gear listed here is generally focused on hitting rather than tanking to make the leveling process smoother
