Old as the sky and earth, a strange fog was first seen ages ago hovering in the firmament as a blue cloud. It is said that this cloud descended into the realm and assumed humanoid form, and even now wanders the lands as a loner looking for a source of power greater than itself.
Becoming a legendary thief, it had legendary beasts fall to their knees, immeasureable treasure, and vast knowledge about the realm. Yet still it wandered the lands alone, seeking something...
Hundreds of years went by and nothing stood long in the creature's way. Finally, search incomplete but no longer curious, the fog reappeared and ascended again to the sky to become Shift, god of thieves.
