These skills improve the use of ranged weapons, such as bows, crossbows, slings and blowguns. All of these skills are used automatically once learned.
The 'marksmanship' skill represents not only proficiency in aiming and hitting a foe, but also striking the vital parts of that enemy in order to deal more damage.
'Point-blank combat' is a skill that assists a ranged weapon user when engaged in melee combat. It is very difficult to concentrate on aiming and loading a ranged weapon while in melee, but this skill helps to overcome that. Note that it is still ideal to remain out of melee while firing a ranged weapon for maximum accuracy.
'Quickloading' helps a ranged weapon user load more quickly.
