Once a necromancer has gained some measure of control over undead, he may allow those undead (and certain other minions) to feed from corpses, butchered meat and even caught fish if they are large enough.
This is a quick way to help both raised and controlled undead regenerate, should they suffer serious damage.
To order your minions to consume corpses or meat, use the 'control' command. For example:
control vampire consume corpse control all consume corpse
In addition to raised undead, skeletons, the flesh beast, and the bone guardian may also consume corpses and meat. Raised undead gain greatly from consumption, but skeletons and animated creatures may only get limited value from it.
