Advanced Poisons permits a thief the ability the brew poisons with additional spell-like effects. These are:

• Vexed Visions
• Itching Skin
• Nausea
• Asphixiation
• Dragonbane
• Insecticide
• Herbicide

The first four persist for a short duration can be countered by using the appropriate advanced antidote. The last three are for use against a specific character type.

Tips

• Bottling the brewed poison and throwing it incurs the same level penalties as other thrown spell potions. Therefore it is far more effective to just brew the poison for the short term and empty the brewed poison when you need it.
• Poison Resistance will help a thief resist an advanced poison. The Cure Poison spell has a chance of removing an advanced poison effect, but, for maximum protection, Advanced Antidotes and Reduce Antidote are the way to go.
