December 2014 was the start of series events to celebrate Advent, Christmas and the New Year it included:-.

• Year end 2014 event (December 30 to January 1)
• Large decorated Christmas tree in Ralnoth

Christmas Carol Contest

On December 13, scrooge posted on board 7 inviting people to write alter aeon themed Christmas carols. The contest ran until 22 December at which time it closed for world builders to vote on their favorites. The results were announced on December 1st.

• level 27 cleric curse revocation for temporarily removing a target's ability to teleport and recall.
• Level 24 cleric skill cursebreaker for removing curses on items.
• Level 12 warrior skill, knockback for creating distance between attacker and target

• Add new warrior shield block skill, and modify the way parry works.

• Add 'gather staff' to allow gathering of wood to make druid spellstaffs.

• Add new level 10 skill, 'firebrand', for carving (burning runes onto leather)
• Add the lighteater skill for necromancers.
• Add the silence skill for necromancers.
• Add the disenchant skill for necromancers.
• Add new level 31 necromancer skill, demonic wardbreaker.
