Blood bottling allows a necromancer to store their own or a monsters blood for later use. The resulting potion contains a restoration spell and can be drunk to restore mana at roughly one mana per level of the spell, or used to bloodmist. The level of the potion is affected by necromancer's cast level and knowledge of the skill.
