The following lists the meaning of some common chat terms and abbreviations you might see players use in the game.
Generic
Agreement or acknowledgement
- k, kk, mk or mmk = ok
- nod = nod in agreement or acknowledgement
Leaving
- brb = be right back
- bbl = be back later
- afk = away from the keyboard
- gtg or g2g = got/going to go
Miscellaneous
- hmm = let me think about it
- idk = i don't know
- imo or imho = in my (humble) opinion
- omg or zomg = oh my god!
- mc or mischan = player's last chat message was sent to the wrong channel
- iirc = if I recall correctly
Groups
Commands
- area = cast area refresh
- heal = heal me
- regen = take some time to regenerate mana and/or movement and/or hp
- regen X tick(s) = same as regen but for a set number of ticks
Warnings
- def on/off = turning defensive fighting on/off
- tank on/off = turning tank on/off
- oom = out of mana
- nosum = either in an unsummonable area or player is unsummonable.
- cap = got an xp cap
- overcap or supercap = got greater than xp cap
- cp = got a combat point
- ep = got an exploration point
