Christmas carol contest 2014

On December 13, a player called scrooge posted on board 7 inviting people to write alter aeon themed Christmas carols. The contest ran until 22 December at which time it closed to allow world builders to vote on their favorites. The results were announced on December 1st.

As part of this year's festivities holding a Christmas carol writing
contest. This is taking well known Christmas carols or songs and changing
their lyrics and titles to give them an alter aeon flavor. The winners will
be voted on by the world builders, to ensure greater neutrality names will
be removed before voting. Prizes will be awarded to the top three of 2.5k,
1k and 500 credits respectively, with a possible extra prize of 500 credits
for the best video or sound file. To submit an entry either mudmail scrooge
or email soda@xirr.com. Multiple entries will be allowed for increased
chances of winning however players will only be eligible for one of the
prizes. Competition will close for entries on December 22nd. Note: written
content may be added to books for the library and videos may be uploaded to
youtube.com/AlterAeonProductions at a later date, if you wish to opt out of
this please mark it on your submission.

After 22nd December the contest closed and world builders voted on their favorites. The results were announced on January 2nd
