Subject: LABOR DAYBOR MINI-EVENT
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the Labor Daybor Mini-event, there will once again be ninety waves of
monsters to fight. There is a legacy quest for completing every tenth wave
of the Puzzlewood area, up to the ninetieth. These quests will be awarded
once the following wave is started. For example, the twentieth wave quest
will be awarded when the altar is activated to begin the twenty-first wave.
None of these are dependent on one another, so they can be done in any
order. Each quest will reward you with a wand of disbelief: a wand of
high-level curse ward.
Also, each of the gods running Death Marches through the event area will
have their own legacy quest to award to participants. Check the 'event
schedule' for details.
Other changes to the Puzzlewood area since the Summer Solstice Celebration
include:
The group size for the event area has been reduced from ten to seven. As
such, each of the waves should be easier, and it should allow greater
flexibility for players to run them.
The size of the area has been cut in half, and all of the rooms are now
permalit. In addition, the rooms have been changed from big to small to
make moving around easier.
In general, things will be more fast and loose than the Summer Solstice
survival trial. There's no contest prize at stake this time around.
If time permits, Kagome and I will try and get an area or two released over
the weekend for you to play in, too. Have fun!

Current Event Information
------------------------------------------------------------------
An encore presentation of the Puzzlewood survival area will begin on
Saturday, September 5th and will be available throughout the Labor Day
weekend until the morning of Tuesday, September 8th. Special legacy quests
for completing milestone waves will be available, and several gods have
volunteered to perform Death Marches, each with their own legacy quest.
This event is for high-level players. If you're still playing on Sloe,
Kordan or Archais, you'll probably get creamed.
See board 8 for details about the event area.
