Job

Jobs are a new feature of alteraeon added in June 2013. A form of repeatable daily quests they involve finding and collecting various items for mob collectors e.g. rare spell components for alchemists. It is helpful to have an intimate knowledge of the mud and where certain items load when doing jobs, as items can be virtually anywhere and difficult to find, scryer spells like locate object can also be useful.
Timeout
Once a job for a mob is completed it can not be completed again for 18 hours.
Commands
- job find shows mobs that might have jobs available
- job list list any jobs for the current mob
- job list <no> detail of specific job
- job accept <no> accept job
- show job shows number of jobs completed
Reward
half experience cap and a small amount of gold
Leaderboard
A new leaderboard was added to track which players have completed the most random jobs.
