Who

The who command is used to list all the visible players. builders and gods on the mud. To use it simply type who. It can be modified by using various switches or used to search for a particular player by typing who and then their name.

Player visibility

The who command will only show players that are visible to your character, it won't show:-

  • players you are ignoring.
  • players that are ignoring you.
  • players that are on a different plane.
  • players that are in do not disturb mode (dnd).
  • players that are invisible (unless you are able to detect invisiblity)
  • builders and gods that are wizinvis.

Information shown

  • level
  • total levels
  • class
  • invisible (indicted by an *)
  • afk flagged (indicted by afk in brackets)
  • pk flagged (indicted by pk in brackets)
  • player name
  • player title

Normal builders are shown as the word builder in lower case, world builders and gods are shown with a capital letter name.

The list is divided into new players, active players and idle players.

Switches

The who command can be modified with the following switches type {{icode who <switch>}} i.e. who blind shows all blind players on the mud.

  • watched - show all those in your watched list
  • blind - players who have the blind flag turned on or connected on the blind port.
  • sighted - players who have the blind flag turned off
  • friend - all players in your friend list
  • pk - shows player killers
  • gods - shows gods and builders
  • level - shows average stats of players
  • <class> - shows members of that class
  • afk - shows people who are afk
  • noafk - shows people who aren't afk
  • arena - shows score/rank in an arena
  • newbie - instead of title shows amount of time been newbie
  • idle - shows those that are not currently actively playing.
  • active - shows all non-newbie and non-idle players.
  • fame - shows total fame, used fame and fame title.
  • helper - shows Newbie Helper Points (nhp) count.
  • spammer - shows any spammers visible

cwho

cwho is a form of whois that displays all visible players in your clan.

gwho

gwho is a form of whois that displays all visible players that worship the same god as you.

who level

who level is different to the normal whois in that it show aggregated statistician information of players instead of a pure list of players.
