The Greenwood

The northeastern portion of the island of Sloe is mostly woodland, bordered by a small swamp on the west and the road to Hildabrad to the south. This forest, called the Greenwood, is home to race of elusive fairies called Pillywiggins. They feed on plant matter -- many in the neighboring agricultural communities consider them something of a nuisance.
