There are several ancillary benefits such as quicker shadow exposure recovery for thieves, more experience gained, and a higher chance to create mastercraft quality items.


Sharpness kicks in after sleeping roughly 40 seconds and lasts at least 8 ticks (4 real minutes or 80 game minutes) after waking up, this duration can be extended significantly by sleeping longer.
